Picture windows. Glass windows. Open windows. Windows to the world.. tired of expensive curtain fabric that requires constant care and cleaning? Looking for easy maintenance and a low cost product? Walk down the cul-de-sac......follow your instincts on "Blind Love!" They have become today's fashion statement! Rolled up blinds, textured wooden blinds, opulent silk blinds...take your pick!

  • Wooden blinds are light, strong and quite tough. They don't attract as much dust as plastic blinds would. These go well in colder climates, and with a more rustic or country decor. Not recommended for warmer climes. Also available today, are faux wood blinds, which cost less, look like wood and last longer!
  • Vertical blinds offer the appearance of drapery, and come in an array of colours in vinyl or plastic coated, to match your decor. The louvers can be twisted and adjusted, to regulate the amount of light to let in. They can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth, and last forever, well, almost! Suitable for both, casual and formal decor, they require low maintenance and a one-time investment!
  • Horizontal blinds come in an array of colours, in vinyl or plastic coated, to match your decor. With these you can look forward to years of trouble free operation! They look great on large picture windows, sliding glass windows, in offices and kids rooms. Low on maintenance, easy to clean.
  • Looking for an elegant and economical way of covering a unique window? Go for Cellular Shades. Made of lightweight fabric, usually in pastels, these are accordion like, fitted blinds that can be rolled up to let in more light. Ideal for a large kitchen window or for that odd window in the lobby. Not recommended for areas where privacy is required.
  • Bamboo blinds can be made of bamboo, Rattan, Reeds and even Jute. These beautiful natural materials offer flexibility in dressing windows. Lightweight blinds, that are light on the pocket too. A pulley system ensures smooth operation. These can also be trimmed in trims of your colour preference, eg. the printed fabric of the bedspread, can be used to trim the blinds, to give an effect of symmetry and co-ordination. In the Indian context, these are ideal!
  • Silk blinds for that extravagant look in the bedroom or a living room! Trimmed with gold trimmings or tassels, these can look quite dramatic. Not so easy to maintain though, since silk attracts dust, and light colours may soon start looking jaded.

Whatever choice you make, you really can't go wrong with blinds! They are especially suited for kids' rooms, to brighten and last. They make for practical office decor, elegant home decor and vibrant kitchen decor! If this isn't "blind love", what is?
