  • When choosing your indoor plants, remember that flowering plants need more sunlight. Therefore you need to decide your buys depending on where you're going to place them in your home.

  • When placing your plants avoid
    1. Dark places
    2. Air-conditioners and coolers.

  • To avoid infections and keep your plants healthy soak neem leaves in hot water overnight, strain and use this water to 'bathe' your plants. It is enough to do this once a month.

  • Rubber plants are much sought after as indoor plants. The leaves will look more glossy and attractive if they are wiped with a piece of cotton that has been dipped in milk.

  • If your plants develop a white fungal infection, don't panic. Just wash the infected areas with soap and water.

  • Indoor plants need to be put out in the sun at least once a week for a couple of hours.
