Buying a pretty pair of underthings is the first step. Now that you have them, how do you look after your delicates? Here's how :

Hand-wash To keep delicate fabrics looking pretty, keep them out of the washing machine. Fill a deep sink with cold water and gentle detergent (hand soap works, too), and then soak the bras.

Bag 'em If you'd rather burn your bras than hand-wash, put them in a lingerie bag or pillow liner, and set your machine on the delicate cycle at a cool temperature. Also, make sure the hooks and eyes are clasped so the bras don't get tangled.

Line dry Never, ever put bras in the dryer. Instead, after washing, clip them to a clothesline or hang them on a drying rack. Keep them away from sunlight to avoid fading.
