AIDS is caused from the damage caused to the human immune system. This damage is caused by a particular kind of immunodeficiency virus. This immunodeficiency virus is regarded as HIV. People suffering from the disease of AIDS are vulnerable to a variety infections. They frequently suffer from high fever. Often different glands of the persons suffering from AIDS become swollen. They become easily subjected to cough and cold. Weight loss is also a symptom of AIDS. This dangerous disease is spreading very quickly all over the World. As far as the statistics is concerned, more than the total number of twenty five million people have died due to AIDS. Added to this, 38.6 million individuals are living with the curse of AIDS. The problem of AIDS has become so common now-a-days that the government of different countries of the world are now taking initiatives to spread among the people the awareness regarding the disease under our discussion. The celebration of the World AIDS Day is the result of such awareness.

Every year on the particular date of 1st December the the World AIDS Day is observed . It is only for the purpose of instigating awareness of the disease called Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome ( AIDS). It is at the World Summit of Ministers of Health on Programmes held in the year of 1988 that the idea of organizing World AIDS Day arose. It is from this particular time that 1st December has been accepted as the World AIDS Day by the governments of the different countries of the world, and many organizations working internationally. From the beginning till the year of 2004, the campaign of the World AIDS Day was lead by the concern UNAIDS. It is in the year of 2005 that the
