There are different types of ailments which affect the human body which cause severe health problems. The cure of many of the diseases have been discovered by us, but a significant number of illnesses still continue to plague us. The treatments of diseases is one of the fields studied by many of the scientists of the world. The blood pressure is a good indicator of the health of a person. The different types of blood pressure include high blood pressure, low blood pressure and normal blood pressure. The details about high blood pressure are mentioned below for the readers.
High blood pressure is indicated when the reading is equal to or more than 140/90 mmHg. Any deviation from the normal blood pressure towards the higher side leads to severe and dangerous medical conditions. Thus it is important for a person to be aware of such a deviation before the situation gets out of hand. If high blood pressure is detected in the earliest stages itself, then a lot could be done in order to restore the patient to normal health conditions. Proper rest and medicines should, ordinarily, either eliminate the problem completely or reduce it to a great extent.
A high rise in the blood pressure could cause heart attacks or kidney failures. Both the situations are extremely dangerous and could lead to death of the person. There are no known symptoms for this particular situation. Thus it could be at times difficult to detect. That is why it probably referred to as “the silent killer”. But some of the symptoms which could occur in particular people suffering from high blood pressure are dizziness, headache, nausea, etc. People usually realize this problem only when some body organ starts malfunctioning. There is also a danger of brain hemorrhage which the people have to face.
