But the problem is, if high blood pressure is not controlled on time the risk of serious health troubles increases which can become as serious as heart attack and stroke. The best way of detecting high blood pressure is by measuring it with a blood pressure cuff and the stethoscope or the electronic sensor as done by the doctors in the clinics. It is important to keep visiting your doctor for periodic check ups of the blood pressure level. The sphygmomanometer is the device used to measure blood pressure.
