Soyabeans are rich in vitamins like folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin and niacin. Soyabeans are rich in antioxidants like carotene.

Soybeans and Vitamins:

The presence of antioxidants in soybeans are responsible for improving the immunity. The antioxidants also prevent prostrate and breast cancer. The people of China and Japan consume a lot of soybeans. Vitaion B12 or cyanocobalamine is found in soybeans.Vitamin B12 improves the function of the neuron(nerve cell) and the red blood cells.

Vitamin B12 also helps in the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B12 also helps in the reduction of homocysteine level in blood that prevents arteriosclerosis and other cardiac disorders. Vitamin B12 also help in the formation of myelin sheath by processing some of the fatty acids.

Vitamins in Soyabean:

Soya milk, prepared from soybean contains a lot of vitamin E. Vitamin E is responsible for the proper functioning of the reproductive system. Some of the products that are prepared from soybean are tofu, soy sauce,soybean cakes etc. The vitamins in soybean reduce the low density lipoprotein that prevents the deposition of cholesterol in the walls of the arteries. The deposition of cholesterol along the walls of the arteries obstruct the flow of blood, causing cardiac disorder. Arteriosclerosis is the name of the disease that occurs due to the deposition of fats in the walls of the arteries.

Soybeans are now savored by people from across the world. Soybeans provide ample amount of vitamin B12. The vitamins are required for the proper functioning of our body. The water soluble vitamins are excreted through urine. Vitamin C and B are examples of water soluble vitamins. The fat soluble vitamins are not removed from the body. The examples of fat soluble vitamins are vitamin A, D, E, K. The antioxidants help in the reduction of oxidative stress. The antioxidants also help in the development of the immunity. Some of the examples of the antioxidants are vitamin A, C, E.
