A hybrid of ancient cultivated origin, possibly between pomelo and tangerine, Oranges are a small flowering tree growing to about 10 m tall with evergreen leaves, which are arranged alternately, of ovate shape with crenulate margins and 4–10 cm long. Also referred to as a type of berry, Oranges, especially the sweet ones are very good foe health and can even taken as orange juices. With all The Nutrients present in the fruit, having at least two Oranges a day will provide a very good Healthy Eating Habit for the person. A very good source of Vitamins, first of all the vitamin A and C, followed by P and B, Oranges helps us fight against various types of diseases and build immunization. The long preservation and the cooking often reduce the quantity of vitamins in the vegetables and fruit, besides because of the extent of our body being exposed to smoke, pollution, pathogenic agents, stress and drugs, the vitamins in our body reduces to a great extent. The vitamins provided by the Oranges strengthen our immune system and helps us fight against various diseases in the long run. Oranges are part of the Healthy Eating diet that one should follow on a regular basis. Vitamin C defends our respiratory tract, helps in the reconstruction and preservation of human connective tissue; so bones and teeth are less fragile. Eating Oranges are also important to preserve beauty and prevent pathologies caused by difficulties in the blood circulation such as cellulitis, varicose veins and hemorrhoids. The therapeutic properties of the Oranges attributed to the same substances that are also responsible for their color and taste, flavonoids (vitamin P) and terpenes also reduces tumors of the colon, rectum and breast. Eating Oranges regularly may lengthen our life because they are full of antioxidant substances.
