Eat Regular Meals

You must eat regular meals in order to stay healthy. Regular meals are essential for carrying out numerous metabolic activities and for the growth and maintenance of body cells and tissues. The human body is always in need of food for the smooth conduction of life processes.

If you often skip meals, then, you would surely be having some serious health problems very soon. The human body is like an engine and food is like the fuel to that engine and so it is quite obvious that if the engine is not getting adequate fuel, then, it would fail to function properly. Same thing happens with human body when it is not getting the right amount of food at the right time. So, it is always better to eat regular meals.

Skipping meals would surely make you weak and so, there is a high chance of suffering from anemia complications, gastritis, low blood pressure and malnutrition. Your body is constantly in need of nutrient rich food items and lack of the same would definitely lead to malnutrition. Calcium deficiencies would hamper the growth of bones and protein deficiency can cause Marasmus and Kwashiorkar. Your diet must contain adequate proportions of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats and water. Each of these food types play a major role in keeping you healthy. One should drink plenty of water to let the kidneys function properly. Nutrition is a must for the formation of blood and when malnutrition can be a major cause of anemia. Low blood pressure is another common health problem which crops up from the habit of skipping regular meals. You must be knowing that in third world countries, a considerable portion of the population do not eat regular meals because they cannot afford square meals and so, they suffer from malnutrition related diseases.
