Food for menopausal women
Menopause is very trying time for most women. The body is playing with hormones and moods! Mood swings, irritability, night sweats, mild headaches, hot flashes are common symptoms. The intensity of these symptoms can be lessened by having a balanced diet; here are some foods which can help as well.
1.Fruits and vegetables:
Especially apples, pomegranates, red/purple grapes. These have phytoestrogens which mimic the activity of the oestrogen hormone which reduces in this phase. These will help reduce the hot flashes.
