Alcohol Consumption Can Be Healthy

Looks ironic but it is true that consuming alcohol is beneficial for health like its damaging nature. Alcohol increase health problem risks but prudent intake is medically viable. Simple logic is that if there is self-control then drinking alcohol would offer advantages too. Know the connection between alcohol and health before taking a judgment. Some benefits of reasonable alcohol consumption are as follows:-

Risk of developing heart diseases reduces
Dying of heart attack risk is reduced
Reduction of stroke risks like ischemic stroke cases
Gallstone risks too are reduced
Reduces diabetes risks

Although above health benefits of consuming alcohol haven’t been supported by researchers yet but such advantages are confirmed in the elders. Do remember that middle-aged or younger adults might face damages instead of attaining benefits even if consuming controlled alcohol. Women must approach experts before drinking alcohol to avail such benefits.

Follow proper guidelines if consuming restrained alcohol to avail health benefits. Logic is that one drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men suffice for benefits. In many cases even judicious alcohol intake might prove risky especially if one suffers from chronic health problems. 

Avoid even sensible alcohol intake if a woman is pregnant or trying to become pregnant. Those taking drugs face problems with alcohol. Those faced hemorrhagic strokes earlier shouldn’t take alcohol, so is it with those encountering heart diseases—weak heart or dilated cardiomyopathy.  

Avail benefits of alcohol after taking care in everything related to it. Those with family history of alcoholism or taking prescription drugs as well as over-the-counter pain relievers or fever reducers should avoid alcohol. Persons with family history of breast cancer mustn’t expect health benefit from alcohol.

Drink alcohol moderately and if possible avoid it to enjoy healthy lifestyle. Dietary guidelines set by experts agree mutually that drinking to attain health benefit is not an appropriate idea. Feeling pressured to drink alcohol isn’t prudent to attain health benefits.

It is true that alcohol is used medicinally since centuries. Various researches have concluded moderate alcohol consumption can reduce cardiovascular diseases so do they benefit usual coronary artery ailments. Moderate drinkers have longevity of life unlike heavy drinkers. It reduces heart diseases up to certain extent. Moderate alcohol consumption besides bringing change in lifestyle decreases heart diseases risks.
Medical researchers conclude that in most cases alcohol has greater impact on heart diseases than other procedures. Add alcohol into the healthful diet for effectiveness. Studies confirm older men and women consuming moderate alcohol have lower risk of dying than non-drinker individuals. Daily moderate drinkers are less acutely hospitalized. It is perhaps one reason that approximately three-quarters of teaching hospitals in the United States serve the beverages containing alcoholic elements to the patients for fast recovery.

Moderate drinks can reduce risk of duodenal ulcer, gallstones, enteric infections, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and diabetes mellitus diseases. Maintain overall lifestyle and health by moderate drinking and exercises and delay aging deteriorations through this combination.
