Cardiac Disease or cardiovascular disease refers to the diseases of the heart and blood vessels which can be rather severe. In theory the term refers to any illness affecting the cardiovascular system of a person. The prevention of cardiac disease is more effective than their treatment. From an early age if people lead an active life with plenty of cardiovascular activities, and sticks to a healthy diet, they will be at a lesser risk of cardiac disease at old age. One should avoid food rich in saturated and trans fats. Quitting smoking is good way to prevent any kind of heart diseases and other complications. As men with hectic schedules and irregular diet habits are more prone to cardiac diseases, they need to take extra care from an early age.
