Zero Figure - Ways to Achieve it

 A few years back, size zero was a term known to women only in the fashion industry until Kareena Kapoor brought the term into limelight in her movie Tashan where she sported a lean figure. Her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar helped her achieve this figure. Inspired by her, young girls across the country are dieting in order to achieve a lean and trim figure. The trend has become quite serious as girls are going to any extent like starving them for hours which have many harmful consequences in the long run.

The actress herself revealed that she sipped juices and worked out 2 hours a day. Without considering the fact that she was assisted by a professional dietician, girls don`t mind spending their days on only juices. On top of that, they spend workout without any guidance and that too for several hours a day. Exercising and good diet are always recommended by any medical experts but exceeding the limits have adverse effects on physical as well as mental well-being of a woman.

Starving oneself is one of the most unhealthiest ways to shed extra pounds. The key is to work-out regularly and eat a balanced diet. One should chart out a plan that is followed, without any glitches, every day. A journal can come very handy. One must keep track of everything she is supposed to eat and what she eats. This helps in knowing one`s weaknesses and feeling proud in the moments of achievement. Also, noting down one`s goal of losing the number of kilos in certain days is very inspirational and easy to follow. Eating right is the first rule. One should take regular visits to the fruit market and buy apples, plums, watermelon, grapes and pineapples. Three different kinds of fruits must be included in daily diet. When hunger strikes, the fruits would replace fatty snacks. These provide all sorts of vitamins and minerals, enough to keep the body energized, refreshed and the good thing is no amount of additional calories get accumulated in the body. This doesn`t mean one can eat fruits all day long as these also contain some amount of sugar. The other thing that is required is hitting the gym regularly. That`s not a compulsion – one can even jog everyday, swimming and power yoga are also other alternates. The point is to keep the body on the move. The exercise regime must be of 30 minutes minimum and 1 hour max, depending upon the weight of a person. If one isn`t overweight and just wants to lose the extra pounds, power yoga and swimming everyday are more than enough. In case the person is overweight and has to lose a large amount of weight, exercise should include cardio along with jogging. It`s recommended that the over-weight people work out under the supervision of a professional.
