Preparation:
1. Dissolve the cornflour in water and keep it aside.
2. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add onions and fry gently until slightly brown.
3. Add baby corn and stir gently.
4. Add spinach in the mixture and stir for another 5 minutes.
5. Add cornflour mixture and bring the soup to boil.
6. Add the salt and pepper to taste.
7. Simmer the heat for 5 minutes.
8. Serve hot.
Soyabeans Salad
Ingredients:
1/2 cup soyabeans
1/2 cup boiled and sliced potatoes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped spring onion
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Take water in a bowl. Place it over the heat. Bring the water to boil.
2. Soak the soyabeans in boil water for 1/2 an hour. Drain and discard the water.
3. Add turmeric powder and salt to the soyabeans.
4. Put butter in a frying pan. Gently fry soyabeans for 5 minutes, over medium heat, till they are crisp.
5. Take a large bowl to mix potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, and spring onion.
6. Add warm soyabeans in the ingredients and serve immediately.
Black Gram Sprouts Recipe
Ingredients:
4 cups black gram sprouts
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp butter
Freshly grated nutmeg
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
1/4 cup walnuts
Preparation:
1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to boil.
2. Add black gram sprouts and bring water to boil.
3. Boil sprouts for 10 to 15 minutes, until tender. Drain excess water.
4. In a large bowl, heat the olive oil and butter.
5. Add sprouts and stir fry for 5 minutes.
6. Add freshly grated nutmeg. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Top sprouts with nuts.
8. Serve hot.
