If you are looking for absolutely sound grounding and a firm foundation in Fashion, your obvious choice would be National Institute of Fashion Design or NIFT - a sought after name. There are seven centers across India:

Since this is a premier Institute, offering a Degree Course, admissions to the Institute, are sought after and therefore admission standards and criteria are stringent. A written exam is held sometime in April. Remember, it’s no cakewalk!

- All undergraduate programmes are of 4 years duration, including a 1 year foundation course
