On one night he goes outside to retrieve Jeff , his brother , from the house of his friend. On his way , he falls down and becomes unconcious. He wakes up, after what he thinks to be a short time period , but finds that during his unconciousness, he has moved eight years to the time of future.He comes back to his home and finds that an old couple lives in his old house. His parents has shifted to some other home. At this time , we see the subplot of this story commences. The subplot deals with a spacecraft. NASA claims that the space craft belongs to them . The agents of NASA fail to penetrate the spacecraft. In the meantime. The doctors check David to find out he has been doing the period of eight years. They endeavor to determine why his age ahas not increased these years. They come to the conclusion.

After a series of tests, that the brain of David is fraught with star charts and alien information. and star charts.David listens to the call of a ship during this time. A robot is send to the room of David. This robot takes him to the ship. Here David sees the pilot of robot and names him Max. Then both Max and David travel the whole of earth . NASA chases them . Then David returns back home. He dices that he want to go back to his previous years o life. It is then he wakes up in the woods , goes back to his house and finds that everything is the same as the time before he went to retrieve Jeff, his brother.
