Food recall is a term which means action taken to remove the spurious foods from the sale and distribution so that these foods are not consumed by anybody. Food recall is also practised in the developing countries like India and pakistan. In these countries there are special agncies to watch on the quality of human food and also of pet food. The imported animal foods and pet foods are specially checked so that no contamination of food can take place. Food recall is ordered if it is found that evehn a very negligible portion of the food has been contaminated.
