Ingredients:
Sesame seeds100 gmsGreen chillies2-3 nosSaltto tasteAsafoetidaa pinchUrad Dal1 tbspTamarinda pinchMustard1 tspOnions (raw)½ cup Cooking oil1 tsp
Method:
- Chop raw onions into tiny pieces and keep aside.
- Heat one teaspoon of oil in a tawa
- Add mustard.
- Once the mustard starts spluttering, add sesame seeds, green chillies, urad dal, tamarind
- Sauté till the urad dal turns golden brown.
- Switch off the stove
- Allow the mixture to cool.
- Once the mixture has cooled, pour it into a mixie jar;
- Add salt and asafetida.
- Blend it to a smooth paste.
- Add raw onions to the chutney
- It is ready to be served.
