Ingredients :

  • Besan 1 cup
  • Â3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon citric acid
  • 2 green chillies
  • A small piece of ginger

Method :

Mix the besan with Â3/4 cup of water. Add the salt, sugar, and the citric acid. Add the green chillies and the ginger and grind together. Boil ¼ cup water, add 1 teaspoon soda and add to the besan mixture. Mix quickly, pour in a greased round dish and cook covered on medium high for 5-6 minutes. Wait for about 5 minutes. Prepare a seasoning of oil, mustard, cumin and curry leaves. Pour it into 3 tablespoons of hot water and pour over the dhoklas.
