2 Curry recipes for winter

Winter is the time to try out new recipes. We have two curry/side dish recipes for you. Hope you enjoy making them.

STUFFED CAPSICUM

Ingredients







Capsicum (small sized)100 gmsBoiled and mashed potatoes1 cupChopped onions1 cupSaltto tasteRed chilli powderto tasteTamarind extract1 cupGaram masala powder1 tsp

Procedure:

De-seed the capsicums and marinate them in warm tamarind water for ten minutes. Mix the mashed potatoes, onions, salt, chilli powder and garam masala powder together. Stuff the capsicums with this filling. Later, steam cook the stuffed capsicums and serve hot.

CAULIFLOWER MASALA

Ingredients

Cauliflower (small sized)1 noBoiled Green peas ½ cupOnions (chopped)1 cupTomato puree4 tbspSalt to tasteSkimmed curd1 cupOil2 tspFor grinding:Cardamom3 nosCloves 2 nosDhania seeds2 tspCumin seeds ½ tspGingerone small pieceGarlic4-5 podsTurmeric powder ½ tspRed chilli powderto tasteOnions1 no.

Procedure:

Drop the cauliflower in boiling water for a few minutes. Grind the masala to a fine paste. Add onions to the hot oil and fry the onions. Add the tomato puree, curd and the paste and fry. Add the peas and the whole, cleaned cauliflower to the masala. Add salt and water and cook on a low flame. When done, place the cauliflower in a plate and pour the gravy around. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
