Ingredients :
- Chicken joints - 500 gms
- Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato puree - 4 tablespoons
- Onions - 2, medium size, ground
- Ginger-garlic paste - 2 teaspoons
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoon
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoono
- Salt - to taste
- Cashew paste - 2 tablespoons
Method :
Marinate chicken with vinegar, 2 tablespoons of tomato puree, ½ teaspoon chilli powder and salt for ½ - 1 hour. In a casserole, add oil and ground onions. Microwave on medium high for 5-6 minutes, uncovered, stirring once in between. Add ginger garlic paste and microwave for 2 minutes. Add all the powder and remaining tomato puree. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Add the chicken pieces with the marinade and microwave, covered for 8-10 minutes. Stir in the cashew paste. Cover and microwave for 1 minute. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
