Ingredients :
Fish1/2 kg (Sardene or Tuna)TamarindOne lemon sizeChili powder2 tspsDhania powder4 tspsTurmeric powder1/2 tspFenugreek1 tspOnion (small, round)5GingerOne piece (1 inch)Garlic5 podsCurry leavesone bunchCooking oil1 tbspSalt to tastePreparation:
Wash and cut the fish into small pieces. Fry fenugreek seeds without oil and powder. Squeeze tamarind with water. Add chili powder, dhania powder and the fish into this and cook for ten minutes. Add crushed garlic and ginger and fenugreek powder. Add salt. When it is done, remove from the stove. Cut the onions into small pieces. Fry the onions and curry leaves and add to the curry.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
This can be used with rice and chappati
