Ingredients:
Fish fillets500gmVinegar1 tbsp Cooking oil 1 tsp Lemon wedges for decorationBanana leaves to wrap the fish fillets
For Masala:Fresh coconut 2 tbsp Coriander 1 tbsp Green chillies (slit & deseed) 6 - 8 Garlic 8 to 10 Nos Chilli powder 1 tsp Cumin seeds ½ tsp Garam Masala a pinch Salt to taste
Method :
- Wash the fillets and make horizontal slits on both sides.
- Sprinkle salt & Vinegar and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Grind all the ingredients for the masala to a fine paste.
- Smear this paste on the fish fillets liberally and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- Smear some oil on the banana leaves & wrap each fillet in a separate leaf.
- Steam the wrapped fillets for 20 to 25 mints.
- Remove from the steamer, unwrap and serve hot with lemon wedges.
