Frenchbean salad

Ingredients:











French beans½ kgHard boiled eggs3 nosChopped bacon4 slicesCarrots¼ kgSpring onions, sliced1 cupPepperTo taste SaltTo tasteFor the DressingVinegar or lemon juice¼ cupMustard powder1 tspPepper¼ tspCastor sugar2 dspsSalad oilÂ3/4 cupSalt¼ tsp

Procedure:

  • Blend all this in a blender or shake in a bottle.

  • String the french beans and cut them into halves lengthwise and slice the carrots into long strips.

  • Parboil both the vegetables and drain.

  • Add the sliced onions to the vegetables and pour dressing over and toss well.

  • Chill and just before serving add chopped eggs and crispy bacon.
