Ingredients:

Broccoli (chopped into florets)500 gmsCauliflower (chopped into florets)250 gmsOnion (chopped)1 mediumPotato (peeled and chopped)1 mediumHerbs (dried crushed of your choice) optional1/4 tspCelery (chopped)2 small sticksGarlic (crushed)1 cloveWater2 cupsCornflour1 tspSkimmed milk1 cupMint leaves (finely chopped)4-5Butter1 tspSalt to tastePepper (freshly ground) to taste

Method: Heat butter in a large saucepan. Add garlic and onion, stir-fry till soft. Add 11/2 cups water, potato, celery, broccoli and cauliflower. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer till potato is tender. Add herbs. Blend mixture till smooth. Mix cornflour in 1/2 cup water and add it to the mixture. Return to pan. Stir on high heat till it comes back to boil. Boil till it is thickened. Add salt, pepper, milk and parsley. Reheat before serving. Serve hot with soup sticks and butter.
