Thangam Philip:

Padmasree Thangam Philip is the forerunner in the field of hospitality management. She is a world renowned culinary and nutrition expert and is the Principal Emeritus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai. At a time when the hospitality sector was not favourably disposed to the catering institutes, she worked hard to bring recognition and professionalism to this field. Today, many youngsters owe their successful careers in this arena to her. She has also penned many books, which are also prescribed textbooks. She is truly a doyen in the culinary field.

Tarla Dalal

Tarla Dalal, is today, a household name, thanks to her popular cookery shows on television. She is India's best selling cookbook author and is acknowledged as a world famous expert on Indian vegetarian cooking. She has about thirty books to her credit, the sale of which exceeds a million copies. In addition to translations in other Indian languages, her books have also been translated into Dutch and Russian. One important purchase on every bride- to-be's list would be a copy of Tarla Dalal's cookbook.

Karen Anand

Karen Anand is a celebrity chef and an international gourmet expert. Her flair for the French style of cooking paved the way for her success in this field. All her ventures including her corporate stint with Jet Airways were a great hit. In addition to writing culinary books she is also a food consultant, television food show anchor and a businesswoman. In addition to being a cookery author, she is also an actress and a restaurateur. She has been featured on BBC as a renowned expert on various types of cuisine.
