You can enjoy the festive season only when you remain healthy and usually the hectic schedule and lots of shopping interferes with your routine eating schedule. Diwali is around the corner, followed by Christmas and New Year.  The festivals are arriving frequently one after the other that may pose a threat to your health. As you'll remain surrounded by a variety of food stuffs for upcoming two to three months, you should consider what to eat to keep yourself fit. Sweets and oily food will be a treat to you but make sure that you don't overeat as it may affect you badly. You'll remain quite busy while shopping and meeting people but observe your eating habits keenly to be in your best and some tips that can help you in that are:

  • Don't visit markets without having your lunch or dinner as roaming with empty stomach may lead to serious health issues. As shopping takes time, don't skip your food. You'll start feeling hungry by the time you finish with your shopping so have food before going to market. Don't take long breaks just to meet your festive excitement. 
  • You'll be visiting your friends and relatives frequently this season but make sure that you don't miss your eating schedules for that. Try to follow your regular diet and don't depend on sweets and oily food being offered to you while visiting your friends place or relatives.  
  • Overeating is common during festivals, and you'll certainly gain extra calories. To shed off that extra kilos, do some exercises. Follow a tight workout that will keep you in your shape, and you'll enjoy while on the run.
  • Self-control can help you a lot. If you're a food lover, consider the risks that these foods may present to your health. Regulate your eating habits and enjoy.
