Christmas is obviously a day to recognize the inevitability of God everywhere around people. Prayer is the best gift to God on the day of Christmas. The three wise men brought some priceless gifts for baby Christ. Nowadays people decorate their houses with streamers and other ornaments specially made for Christmas. Sometimes people, especially children make those crafts at home. Religious people believe that God is everywhere and they make crafts for setting the right mood of Christmas.
Different types of Christmas crafts are made to mark the distinct mood of festivity.
Apart from the religious aspect there are other reasons for decorating houses and other places during Christmas. Children get break from their studies for a few days during the Christmas vacation. That is the ideal time for them to try their hands in some Christmas crafts. This is a nice way to give the weary mind a break fro m the tiresome routine of studies, games and other activities that children do under compulsion. A little help from their parents is bound to bring a wide smile on the face of children.
