How Best to Use Your Perfume - Here are Some Useful Tips

Perfume can be stored in a refrigerator to increase its shelf life.

If you do so, little opaque drops may appear in our perfume. These will disappear when shaken well and will not affect the perfume in any way.

Apply perfume primarily on your pulse spots. The scent emanates better that way. On your wrists, behind your ears, on your heart - these are the best spots to scent.

Don't rub the spot after you apply perfume. It breaks down essential oils - and the fragrance will dissipate.

Always ensure the white seal in the bottle lid stays in place. The seal prevents leakage and evaporation and lengthens the life of the perfume.

Pick a perfume that appeals to you instantly. A perfume should make you feel cheerful. Stay away from perfumes that give you a headache or make you feel uneasy.

If your perfume makes you feel good, spray your pillowcases and curtains, handbags and kerchiefs with it too. You'll be surrounded with your favourite perfume.

Some perfumes can trigger asthma attacks. Beware!

Never spray perfume on silk. It will spoil the texture of the material and leave stains too.

Perfume reacts adversely in the sun. Don't wear it if you are going to spend time in the sun. You can spray it onto a bit of cotton and carry it around in your perfume. Don't spray it on your body.
