We start wearing a bra from our teens, but very few us are aware of what really works for us. We hardly know how to chose the correct shape of the garment so that it will uplift, support and enhance our womanly features.
According to health experts most women even today suffer from common breast problems like premature sagging, backache, painful shoulders and sore breasts from wearing the wrong type of bra. "Many consumers are quite often not very sure of their size. A woman should know her exact size in order to choose the right lingerie.
This leads to women purchasing wrong sizes and thus, resulting in discomfort. To get the right size women should take the advice of the sale personnel trained to sell lingerie. They are trained to measure sizes accurately. At large stores, they advise and guide the consumers in selecting the correct fit and style best suited for them," suggests the Product Development Manager at Triumph International, a leading lingerie company in the country.
Earlier in the Indian market we had bras made with regular cotton that were meant to just lift and separate the breast without really enhancing the shape. Nobody really gave any thought to the poor old boobs anyway. But the scene is different now. There are more and more lingerie companies are coming out with bras with different cuts and styles that are meant for different breast types.
So with so many options available in the market, it is not necessary for you to look frumpy anymore. Whether you are well endowed or flat as a pancake, or somewhere in between, there are bras available that can enhance your natural shape without giving the secrets away. "While buying innerwear factors like comfort, quality, innovation and fashion are important. A consumer should be aware of the specific functions that the different types of innerwear serve. In India, we offer several segments of innerwear (Maximizer, T-shirt, Fashion Style, Be Happy, Sports Bra, Form & Beauty, Sloggi and Sweeties) which suit different functional needs of consumers as well as different occasions," informs the source at Triumph International.
It is a misconception amongst women with "A" cup size that they do not need shaped bras. Most of them wear their pair without much thought to lift. Most Indian women just pick one padded full molded bra. But that can actually look stiff and artificial. In fact women with a cup size should pick up underwired bra, as this helps hold, shape and fill out the bra cups. While you may raise your brows and say, "Can small breasts sag?" the answer is yes.
The second biggest mistake most small breasted women tend to do is go for full padded bras. But a better option that enhances the look more naturally is to opt for a shaped bra with padding at the sides. They fill you up while lifting your breasts to create a better cleavage. Always opt for adjustable straps for a more comfort fit.
Women with bigger cup sizes tend to wear bras with wider straps and more fabric that does not really flatter the figure. The solution to this is to go for under wired bras with demi-cup. Ditch wider straps; look for adjustable medium width straps and lower "V" in the center. To prevent your twin-peaks to go down hill, you can even try bras with a cross over design that support your breasts from beneath, giving you maximum lift.
Now for medium sized women, the problem may not be to find sexy lingerie but to find one that will enhance their cleavages. To get a nice little dip that will enhance any top that you wear, try a bra that pushes your breasts not just upward but also inwards. Look for lower centre dip as this allows the breasts to come together as well as lets you wearer deeper cut top. Women looking for an enhanced look of the cleavage can select push up bras that come with removable push-up bra pads to provide that ultimate cleavage and therefore guaranteeing a beautiful neckline
Well lacy bras are handy little things to enhance the beauty of your breasts. But you should not rely on them alone. A good diet and just fifteen minutes of bust enhancing exercise routine can go a long way keeping your bosom perky and firm for a long time.
