While we do start wearing a bra as we hit the teens, but very few really take care to wear the right fit. She explains that women today suffer from common breast problems like premature sagging, backache, painful shoulders and sore breasts from wearing the wrong type of bra. " Most women are often not very sure of their size. In fact for a woman her size changes in various stages of menstruation cycle through the month. You might find your size increasing or decreasing depending on which phase of the cycle you are," adds Paice.
Buy bras in various shapes and sizes to wear during each phase of your cycle. The right bra will cradle your breast and support your shoulders. It should feel as if you are not wearing anything underneath.
Since your size changes throughout your monthly cycle so it is a good idea to try your bra every time you buy it. Also your fitting and size will differ from size to size and brand to brand. So if you`re a 34 B, you might find yourself fitting into a 34A or even 32 C in certain style or brand.
Lingerie Fashion
Earlier in the Indian market we had bras made with regular cotton that were meant to just lift and separate the breast without really enhancing the shape. Nobody really gave any thought to the poor old boobs anyway. But the scene is different now. There are more and more lingerie companies are coming out with bras with different cuts and styles that are meant for different breast types.
Various types of bras include full cup bra, plunge bra, balcony or balconette bra, demi bra and T-shirt bra. A full cup bra provides complete support. It may or may not be with an underwire. Plunge bra is a fashion accessory that is good for getting a cleavage. It bests complements deep neck dresses and shirt. A balcony or balconette is great for lift and good to wear under blouses when you want to show off your curves. A T-shirt bra as the name suggests is best to wear under a T-shirt as it is seamless. A demi is a version of balconette bra, when you want to show off your neckline.
In fact for daily wear at home Paice suggests picking up T-Shirt or full cup bra. Avoid wearing an underwired bra when lounging at home. However you can change into one to get better shape if you are going out.
