The harsh camera lights, the styling gels, mousse, perms and heated styling gadgets do tend to take their toll on the hair. Hair needs to be pampered, coaxed and conditioned back to good health regularly.

Don't perm your hair after you've coloured it. If you are planning to streak and highlight your hair you must handle your hair gently. So don't perm it afterward. It can cause untold damage. If you want a perm, get it done before the colouring.
