The former Spice Girl is out with her first solo album since splitting with the four other spices in May 1998. Halliwel has been marking time since the Big Split, working as a UN Goodwill Ambassador and a spokeswoman for Breast cancer awareness. Her new album, 'Schizophonic' is a pop album with catchy lyrics. Nothing outstanding here- it's old stuff repackaged and recycled, yet again. The only song worth listening to is, 'Look At Me', a sassy song with some brio. This album has not done too well on the charts. And it must hurt but, Sporty Spice has also released her first solo album, 'Northern Star'. The first song released from that album has hit Number One on the British charts.
Rating: Geri looks much better in her post-Ginger Spice avatar. Alas, can't say the same for the music.
