'Sound Loaded' by Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin's sophomoric effort in English 'Sound Loaded' is a fitting sequel to his eponymous debut album. With producer Emilio Estevez on hand to bring out the best in the Latin sensation, there's nothing but a non-stop party going on, Ricky Martin style. If you haven't already heard the sexually charged lyrics and seen the steamy video for the title song, 'She Bangs', you're completely out of the loop, mate!

'Sound Loaded' is a worthy follow up to Martin's chart busting debut crossover album. There's something about the conga and the Latin flavour that adds an extra fillip to a song! Infectious rhythms, raunchy lyrics and Martins trademark hip swivel define this album. Check out the saucy 'Loaded' and the racy, 'Jezebel'. 'Amour' and 'Jezebel' have a nice salsa beat to them while 'St. Tropez' has a 60's throwback feel to it- suave, sexy and so totally cool! 'Come to Me' a soft ballad duet with Meja, balances out the furious energy of the rest of the album. Unfortunately, there's not too much to choose from since the three tracks on side A are covered as Latino tracks on Side B.

Rating: Throw a dance party. But first make sure you have 'Sound Loaded' on your music system!
