Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks and famed director Ron Howard are teaming up again on the big screen for their new film Angels and Demons after the huge box office success Da Vinci Code.
Angels and Demons movie is based on the best selling mystery thriller novel by popular American author Dan Brown. The film revolves around Harvard University symbologist Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) quest to uncover the mysteries of a secret society called the Illuminati.
Film uses the idea of conflict between Illuminati and the Roman Catholic. The movie revolves around the lead protagonist Robert Langdon, as he tries to stop the Illuminati, a legendary secret society, from destroying Vatican City with their newly-discovered power of antimatter.
Langdon is summoned to Switzerland when it is discovered that an Illuminati was used to mark a dead man's chest. The journey begins across Rome and into cathedrals. Along the way, film uncovers many secrets, including those responsible for the threat to the Vatican. In the end, Langdon saves the Vatican and the cardinals from harm.
