Star Wars geeks were thrilled after downloading a trailer for the upcoming Episode II from an 'official' fan website.

The gang were all there-Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and latest recruit Hayden Christensen - plus clips featuring stars such as Jimmy Smits and Gabriel Byrne. But the 'trailer' is bogus and not a Star Wars clip at all-merely snippets from Smits' and Byrne's other films. Byrne hasn't even signed on for the next instalment.

Apparently, the trailer is the work of a light-fingered morph artist, 'TFN', who stole images of Byrne in Stigmata. The trailer includes Christopher Walken, who also hasn't signed up. Worse, a Braveheart battle sequence replaced swords with light sabres. But the kilts were a bit of a give away!
