Drew Barrymore, the original wild child of Hollywood is now an established Hollywood player. The actress who began her career with the Steven Spielberg blockbuster, 'E.T' recently starred in and was the executive producer of, 'Charlie's Angels'. On Barrymore's insistence, the three 'angels' did not use any guns or weapons of any kind. Instead, they practiced martial arts to decimate their enemies on screen.
Barrymore who went through substance abuse problems including alcohol and drugs also struggled through a failed marriage. She has now sobered up and recently married again. Husband MTV comedian, Tom Green starred in 'Charlie's Angels' opposite Barrymore as her on-screen love interest.
Now Barrymore is the subject of an accredited course at Ohio's Oberlin College. 'The Life and Times of Drew Barrymore' is taught by students who tape Barrymore movies into a videocassette show them in class and then hold discussions on Barrymore's acting abilities. The final exam for the course requires students to perform a skit based on a scene from one of her movies!!
