If the reports are to be believed, Spice Girl Melanie B is set to delve further into the world of movies, when she stars in a 15-minute film called Fish.

Melanie, who has already tried her hand at acting with the rest of the girl group in `Spice World: the Movie`, will star in the flick as the mother of a 14-year-old boy, who moves to a housing estate in the north of England.

The budget for Fish, which will see Melanie working in a fish processing works called Fishy Frank`s - a far cry from her celebrity lifestyle - is believed to be a mere 47,000. It is said that Melanie chose to take part in the movie after the film`s director Bruce Goodison, made a documentary about the Spice Girl.

The film will make Melanie the first of the Spice Girls to venture into movies on her own.
