New words added everyday.

The Oxford English dictionary has accepted Homer Simpson's trademark ''Doh'', along with terms like ''Bollywood'' and ''the Full Monty'' into the language in its online edition.

DPA quoting chief editor John Simpson said, ''My job is the perfect excuse for watching action films, soaps, quiz programmes - where the language is busy right now".

Bollywood - referring to the Bombay-based Indian film industry - is also listed on the website www.oup.co.uk. So is the Full Monty, which now means to go naked. Originally it is said to have been coined by the batman of the British World War II General, Bernard Montgomery, who was inclined to order a full English breakfast at any time of the day or night. The new meaning comes from a film of the same name, in which unemployed British steel workers strip off.

Bad hair day - a spell when things are not going well, particularly for a woman - is a new entry, based largely on the popularity of the recent film Bridget Jones's Diary, although the term has been around for some time.

Similarly, the term clubbing - meaning going to a disco - has made it into the dictionary after years of general acceptance in Britain.
