Indian film wins accolades at London fest
Kudos to 'Kandukondain Kandukondain'.
The Tamil film 'Kandukondain Kandukondain' has won the rare accolade of being rated among the top 12 films of the London Film Festival by leading UK daily 'The Guardian'.
'The Guardian' film critic Peter Bradshaw praised the Rajiv Menon directed film for "the richly complicated plot (that) allows it to be exuberantly transposed to modern-day India".
The film centres around a family of four women. The movie stars Aishwarya Rai, Mammootty, Tabu and Ajit among others.
The festival, being held in London between November 1 and November 16, is screening over 250 films.
