Get ready for one big Diwali Dhamaka. Bigger than Tyson versus Golota. Bigger than David versus Goliath. Presenting the fight of the Millennium: Vinod vs. Aditya. Uh?
One will remain standing
Still stumped? Well, this is a true fight to the finish in tinseltown. Come Diwali, Bollywood's two heavyweight directors Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aditya Chopra will be locked in a tussle to capture the hearts (not to mention, purses!) of theatre goers. More importantly, this Diwali will decide the fates of King Shahrukh and heir apparent Hrithik Roshan. After Diwali, just one undisputed raja will be left standing.

Shahrukh will be starring in Aditya Chopra's magnum opus 'Mohabbatein' along with a heavy-duty star cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Yash Chopra's younger son, Uday Chopra. Hrithik will be playing terrorist Altaaf in maverick Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Mission Kashmir'. Lending him support are sprightly Preity Zinta and Sanjay Dutt.
Grand Scales
The 'Mission Kashmir' and 'Mohabbatein' camps are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to capture box office hustings. A total of over 900 prints will be in operation, spread over Indian and overseas territories of which nearly 100 prints will be circulation for overseas territories alone for each film. This is the first time that such a large number of prints will be in circulation.
Trade pundits are keeping their fingers crossed and are hoping that both films become hits. Bollywood has taken a battering at the box office this year and everyone is looking to these two films to resurrect a depressed film industry. Both 'Mohabbatein' and 'Mission Kashmir' have reportedly been sold at the rate of Rs. 3 crore per territory in India while the overseas market has apparently been sold for between Rs.5- Rs.10 crore per territory.

Two films? Two hits? 'Mission' impossible or will the audience continue to be in 'mohabbat' with both Hrithik and Shahrukh?
