It was a memorable occasion for Hema Malini and her two talented daughters.

On January 12, 2001 for the first time ever, Hema Malini shared centre stage with her two daughters, Esha and Ahana. They were joined by classical singer, Shubha Mudgal.

The troika performed under the auspices of Deeksha, an academy of classical dance and music. The show was held at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai. While Hema Malini is a seasoned performer, Esha too has performed on stage before. Esha is now in films. This was younger daughter, Ahana`s first foray onto the stage.

Ahana, who is only 15 years old, put in a 10-minute performance that was well received.
