Animation movies are one new form of technology that entertains audiences. Everyone and specially children love to explore this form of entertainment.
Many new animation movies hit the theatres every year and earn huge money out of it. Parents prefer their children to watch animation movies rather than watching Bollywood masala movies. Not only children but even youngsters enjoy watching animation movies.
In simple words the actual meaning of animation is “the act of bringing to life”, and these words aptly suit these kinds of movies, they actually bring life to anything they want, from a chair to a dog to a cup, animation can make them all sing, dance and speak.
With the passage of time there is a growing competition, to produce something that is unique, creative and at the same time entertaining. From last decade, this genre of movies are getting hype, though they were produced in earlier times as well, but gradually its gaining popularity, though this genre of movies have been favourite of everyone and specially kids.

Few of the very famous animation movies are Ramayana: the legend of prince Rama, this movie got released in the year 1992, and gained lot of popularity and appreciation. Apart from this movie, later many other movies were made on Indian mythology, seeing the popularity of Ramayana: the legend of prince Rama, which was an easy way to teach students about their mythology. In the movie Ramayana: legend of prince Rama, the story was varied from the original one so as to make it suitable for the children, the story ended when Lord Rama came back to Ayodhya along with his wife and brother after defeating Ravana.
Other historical animation movies that made mark on the Indian audiences were Ghatothkach, Hanuman, Bal Ganesh, and many others, all of them gained appreciation, and were liked by people of all ages. Roadside Romeo was one animation movie in which renowned Bollywood actors such as Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan gave their voice for the characters in the movie, this was the story of a dog named Romeo, this movie was produced under a renowned production house Yash Raj Films and Jumbo was also an animation movie in which Akshay Kumar gave his voice and this movie was based on the story of an elephant, who struggles to search for his father, the sequel of this movie was released but didn’t gather much appreciation.
Till the date many movies of this genre are ready to hit the theatres soon.
