Our thoughts govern us. More so, as thoughts have a strong influence on our diet and the food we eat. Our mood swings affect our eating patterns. We tend to overeat when we are happy or depressed. There are some who tend to under-eat as well. Have you noticed that when the negative emotion called anger overcomes us, we just don't eat at all? In the company of friends or at parties, everyone's mood is upswing. Spirits soar high and so does the eating and drinking.
Here is a quiz to test how your thoughts influence you. Answer these questions and check your rating. Do be honest and tick the answer closest to your emotions.

1. You are on a dieting regimen and you happen to attend a party. If you were offered your favourite pizza, all laden with succulent cheese, what would you think?

A."Pizza? GOD! It's loaded! I'll avoid it like the plague!
B. "I would love to have it....maybe a small piece won't hurt!
C."Let me have one now. I'll diet from tomorrow".

2.When you are flipping through a fashion magazine, your eyes fall on a slim and sleek beauty. What do you feel?

A. How does she manage to be so trim? I am sure she must be working out in a gym. I should try this as well.
