This seven day diet plan recommends a different combination of food each day. Though very restrictive in terms of food items, this plan facilitates quick weight loss. The specific food items allowed during the diet routine are:
On the first day, only fruits are to be consumed and banana isn`t included in the diet.
The second day is vegetables day. One can eat raw as well as cooked vegetables without any dressing.
On day three, one has to eat both veggies and fruits. Bananas are still a No-No.
Day four calls for bananas and milk. One can have as many as eight bananas and up to three glasses of milk.
For the fifth day, beef and tomatoes are recommended. One has to make sure that she eats six whole tomatoes.
The next day, one has to again come back to vegetables combined with beef.
And the last day, one is allowed to eat rice with vegetables and drink fruit juices.
During the seven days, the follower has to drink plenty of water so as to drain out toxins from the body. Other allowed drinks are black tea and plain black coffee without sugar or any other sweeteners, club soda and lime flavored water. Despite being favored by many, this diet routine is not appropriate for health. The pros and cons of this diet plan are:
This plan is free and can be easily found over the Internet
Extremely easy to understand and follow
The food recommended in the diet plan is inexpensive and readily available
Helps reduce weight rapidly
The plan doesn`t include any kind of exercise
It restricts the nutrition ergo body doesn`t get all the essential nutrients
Variations in food habits cause metabolic slowdown
Weight loss results are likely to be short term
Though it reduces fat quickly, there are a handful of downsides to it as well. One should not consider it as a lifestyle plan as it can adversely effect one`s health. And the worst part is that the lost weight bounces back right after one starts taking a regular diet. So, it`s better to follow a healthier and more sustainable diet plan that helps reduce weight without any side effects.
