Chicken is a great ingredient that can be used to prepare a variety of dishes. Along with great taste, chicken is a protein rich diet that helps you stay healthy. Today we are going to present you the recipe of Tandoori Chicken.
Ingredients:
Boneless chicken- 2 pounds
Finely Chopped Onion- 4
Onion paste- 2tbsp
Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
Coriander powder- 2 tbsp
Cumin powder- 2 tbsp
Green Chillies- 6-7
Garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Ginger Paste- 1tbsp
Red Chilli powder- 1-1/2 tbsp
Curds- 1-1/2 tbsp
Paprika- 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil or butter
Procedure:
- Rinse chicken and remove skin and extra fat. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl or a plate. Apply a layer of lemon juice on these pieces with a brush. Take a bowl and mix onion paste, red chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin, curds, paprika, coriander, and salt. Coat the chicken pieces evenly with this mixture.
- Keep these coated chicken pieces for 5-7 hours.
- Set the oven to preheat it at 450-500 degree F. Until that time put some oil or butter in a baking tray and bake chicken pieces one by one for around 10-12 minutes. Now put these chicken pieces into the oven for 45 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven and serve the chicken with lime pieces and green chillies. Your delicious chicken is ready to eat.
