Rajasthani cuisine is a beautiful Indian regional cuisine. In terms of area Rajasthan is the biggest state of the Republic of India and the state features a wide diversity in culture, tradition, festivals, rituals and also in cuisines. All the Rajasthan cuisines are highly influenced by the unpacific life-style of the Rajput family. Perfect proportion of ingredients is the main criteria of Rajasthani cuisine. Cuisines that can be eaten without eating and the dishes that remain for many days are mainly preferred by the Rajasthani people.

Lack of adequate water and fresh green vegetables is the main reason behind the typical storage system of Rajasthani food. Though Rajasthani cuisine are simple but these cuisines need much spices as well as oil to cook.
