With the competitive times, it is tough to keep up. Especially for a young working girl, it is difficult to keep up with the work as well as household chores. Living alone is never easy; plus with the job responsibilities and a home to take care of you, it becomes all the more difficult.

The day starts with the cleaning and breakfast, followed by getting ready for the office. Being on your own means, you have to do everything by yourself. To keep up with the corporate style and latest trends, the first dilemma of the day starts with choosing an appropriate dress and wearing make-up. The breakfast also has to be healthy and energetic so as to help you throughout the day. The next step is, catching a tube or bus to the office.

Once you reach at the office, you have to keep up with the hectic work schedule. Being a girl brings lot of responsibilities as well. You cannot always hang out with the people you want and keep away from the wrong people. Maintaining a healthy reputation at the office and carrying out the chores efficiently is a big responsibility in itself. Being young and single doesn’t always mean you can be careless and free. Further even if you are in a relationship with a co-worker, it might be all the more demanding. The strife for establishing yourself as the best and getting promoted is never ending.

Even after the office hours are over, the dilemma doesn’t end. Living alone in a town causes lot of stress for the family as well. One day you don’t talk to your family, and they would all stress out over your well being. So, consoling the family members even in the tough times is an added dilemma. There are even times when your close family member like your mother, father or brother might not be feeling well and there is an overwhelming desire to go back home. But, looking at the work load and office, you have to suppress this desire.

There are also gloomy days like break up with your best friend or boyfriend when you might not be feeling like working. But at the same time, you cannot let your work suffer because of your personal problems. So, here come another dilemma, that is, work versus relationships.
 
To be single and earning in a different town can be stressful and yet providing a feeling independence and dignity. Living all by yourself is something which makes you confident about yourself and teaches you to deal with the world. There are many situations on everyday basis when you might be tempted to run away and hide in your bedroom; but being on your means standing up against those problems and face them. It certainly makes you braver and calmer. At the same time, living alone makes some women turn their back on the domestic responsibilities and continue with their career as the primary priority. Thus, it is important to keep a balance while you are living alone.
