Ways to avoid over-exertion during exams

Today’s world is, ideally, identified to be a coliseum where increasing population is pitted against almost stagnant job opportunities. The key to success, here, is surpassing others and kissing the apogee. And to seal this possibility of succeeding, the essence of life is taking a serious beating. To win the rat race everyone is burning the mid night oil and thus giving stiff resistance to each other.

“No one is inferior to the other” --- such is the mental conditioning of this generation and living up to this benchmark is taking a toll on the physical and mental health of pupils. Failing to meet this set standard is like waste of life and thus the test of knowledge, that is, examination has become one of the most feared concepts among the students. To emerge with flying colors they tend to over exert and that has the potential to ruin the time-long preparation thereby creating a hindrance to the desired result. Hence, proper care should be taken to ensure that conscious students are not overdoing in any way as that would not substantially aid her to have an edge rather it might affect adversely.

As precautionary measures, the following points may be considered in order to avoid a faulty regime to fair well in examinations. Infusing a sense of healthy competition in oneself is encouraging but if exercised in its blunt, literal meaning then it might not be beneficial to the cause as it would unnecessarily bog down the student.
Studying generously throughout the year is advisable as this would not exert any unearthly pressure on the person during the examination since he would not be gathering heaps to be done with at the testing time.

It would do a world of good to the examinee if there is abeyance in between his study hours as this would relieve her from monotony and help her to focus better.

Giving ears to good music, playing games to one’s interest are also some ways that facilitate better recreation.

Good, tight sleep is also imperative during exams as it is through this biological process whatever is amassed in the study hours, sink in and stabilize. Moreover the spent and weary mind feels fresh and rejuvenated.

Lastly, it is essential that exams are dealt with nerves of steel as it is always to be borne in mind that the telling pressure of exams should never be getting the better off the examinee at any point in time. Then it would be taking off the gauntlet before the battle. During exams it is very important that the student cuts his connection with all the bugging elements under the Sun and has a one-track mind concentrating on his exam. It is very common prior to the examination that mind of the examinee gets  derailed thinking of perilous consequences of writing a tough and lengthy question paper, nervous breakdown, fairing improperly and other such negative aspects. So, a free, relaxed mind plays a pivotal role for the examine to taste success in the examination hall shrugging off all de-motivating factors and keeping a panic-stricken mind at bay.
