The wedding date is the most important day in the life of everybody, especially  girls when they are dressed like a bride. They know that all eyes will be on them and this makes them dream of looking the most stunning, gorgeous, and beautiful on their wedding day. Owing to this reason, women work very hard in trying to look the best on their wedding day. They start preparing for their looks much before the actual wedding day, sometimes many months before the wedding day. They start getting their appointments with beauty salons fixed and pay frequent visits to the salons to get that perfect flawless skin to flaunt on the wedding day.  

Because the bride is the center of attraction during all weddings and all its celebrations, even the family members ensure that she looks the best on the wedding day. Wedding make up is an art and is very different from the casual make up or the party make up that we do while going to parties, office, and market, among other occasions. Therefore, there are makeup professionals who are called up especially for the wedding day to dress up the bride and do her makeup. Even beauty salons have their own makeup artists who take orders on bridal makeup and get the bride ready completely for the wedding day.

There are many things that must be kept in mind while doing the bridal makeup. Some of these are the skin tone, age of the bride, color of the dress, and the lighting at the wedding venue, among many other things. Based on all these factors, the makeup artists decide on what kind of bridal makeup to be given to the bride to make her look the best on her wedding day. Many a time, the bridal makeup artists give a list of things to the bride to do even before many days of her wedding so that her skin and body looks fresh and rejuvenated and glows on the wedding day. In addition, whatever the bridal artists do on the wedding day just adds glamour to the workout done many days before.

One thing that the bride must ensure is that her face should look clean and spotless on the wedding day. For this, she should start taking good care of her skin by getting regular clean ups, facials, masks and face packs and keeping her skin and face away from any kind of dirt or germs. Care should be taken that the face should not be exposed to a lot of sun, hot air, pollution, etc. All these things tend to clog the pores in the skin and cause acne, rashes and other odd-looking things on the face that are a strict no-no on the wedding day. The body should remain well nourished and moisturized all day long so that it is soft and supple on the wedding day. For this, the would-be bride should drink a lot of water every day, apply moisturizer on the entire body immediately after bath and keep the whole body well nourished. This adds up to the extra radiance on the wedding day.

One must also keep a check on one’s diet. Avoid all kinds of oily and spicy food. Restrict the diet to proteins, vitamins, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, and juices, among others.
